It was a pleasure to play this year’s Firefly Music Festival! It was a long 48 hours that involved two flights, plenty of driving and one incredible team of people willing to help me pull it off. After my set I sat down with Brendan from iradiophilly to talk about some of my story starting from piano lessons in a small town and building to some of the bigger stages in the world. I’m thankful for the journey! You can listen here!

I should have posted this two weeks ago but, here we are, in the back lounge of a tour bus headed to somewhere else with only the greatest female soul artist of our time. Glad to be back out with Miss Jill Scott, an inspiring person and uncompromising artist. I love this band. Every time I grow weary and can’t remember where we are or where we’re going I remind myself of the previous sentences.
This photo is from last night’s show at NJPAC, a beautiful, relatively new, performing arts center in Newark, NJ. DW on the bass and Kyle on the monitors. Keeping it light.
